Karson Ashby
Karson Ashby joined York Howell at the beginning of 2022 as a Legal Assistant to the Real Estate Team. In May of 2020, Karson graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Law. Karson has an admiration for the law and the functions that it creates to establish and maintain order within our communities. He is particularly interested in the discrepancies between Legislative intent while creating a law and the application of the law through the Judiciary. At the firm, Karson assists in real estate disputes and civil litigation, which has provided more exposure to the steps of the litigation process. Karson appreciates learning the various details of the litigation process and gaining a better understanding of how laws are applied.
When not working, Karson enjoys spending his time outside running, trail running, hiking, kayaking and all other sorts of outdoor recreation activities. He is an avid runner and is currently training to run the Utah Valley Half Marathon this summer. Aside from spending time outside, Karson also enjoys reading, coordinating events, and FaceTiming his nieces and nephews.
