Daniel Garriott

During the last twenty years, Dan has concentrated his practice on business and civil litigation, real estate related matters, and family law.  He has experience in corporate formation and dissolution, noncompetition disputes, and personal injury.  He has tried cases in both state and federal courts in Utah and has briefed and argued cases before the Utah Court of Appeals, Utah Supreme Court, and Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Dan considers himself a problem solver and makes every effort to find economical means to resolve his client’s problems.

Having previously worked at a firm where they considered themselves to be a general practice, they prided themselves in taking anything that walked in the door, giving him experience in just about every area of the law.

Outside of work, Dan and his wife are the parents of 7 amazing children that keep them hopping.  Almost all of his time is devoted to playing with them.  Dan is a USSF certified soccer coach and has been a recreational coach for the last 15 years.  Dan and his family are avid skiers and love to be outdoors.  Dan is certified as a freeride ski coach and spends as much time skiing with his children as he possibly can.  He has been a director on the board of Impact United Soccer Club since 2016 serving as its legal counsel and the Director of Recreation where he coordinates recreational soccer for more than 3,500 athletes.
