Erin Stone
Erin Stone’s practice covers nearly all areas of corporate and real estate law, licensing and compliance, as well as commercial litigation.
Mrs. Stone has extensive experience in advising clients on business planning, formation and reorganization, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, asset protection, and corporate governance. Hand in hand with her business expertise, Mrs. Stone assists clients with liquor licensing and compliance matters. Services related to liquor licensing include preparation and presentation of license applications, meetings with the DABC, license transfers, violation resolution, and everything in between.
Mrs. Stone’s real estate experience includes real estate purchases and sales, transfers, and leasing. Mrs. Stone has also assisted clients with oil, gas and mining matters including ore contracts and oil leases. She has handled commercial litigation matters and appeals for clients stemming from contracts, business interests, real estate disputes, intangible property (i.e. domain names), and much more.
In 2013, Mrs. Stone was named as one of Utah’s 30 Women to Watch by Utah Business. The following year, Mrs. Stone was selected as one of Utah’s Rising Stars in Business Litigation by Mountain States Super Lawyers Magazine.
Mrs. Stone is a graduate of the S.J. Quinney College of Law at the University of Utah. Prior to law school, she earned her B.S. in Business Management from Arizona State University.
Mrs. Stone has served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable J. Thomas Greene, U.S. District Court Judge, and the Honorable Brooke C. Wells, U.S. Magistrate Judge, both in the District of Utah. She has also served as corporate counsel for an international non-profit and was a shareholder at a major Salt Lake City law firm. Mrs. Stone served Girl Scouts of Utah as a volunteer board member, including Chair of the Board, for over six years.
When Mrs. Stone is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and adorable son. They enjoy traveling to and exploring new places, and lots of time on the beach.
