She earned her Basic Mediation Certification through the University of Utah and volunteered as a mediator for several city and county small claims courts. Prior to joining York Howell, Laura worked as a legal assistant at a public finance law firm, where she specialized in municipal bonds.

Outside the office, Laura enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, working in her yard, getting lost in a good book, and occasionally letting her husband convince her to attend concerts that are well past her bedtime.
