Laurie Carlyle, a native of sunny Palm Springs, California, moved to the Salt Lake Valley in 2015 in order to live closer to her grown children. She has been with the Firm ever since.
Laurie is a graduate of Brigham Young University and has an extensive background in the hospitality industry which has prepared her for her role at York Howell & Guymon as the Firm Administrator. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Firm including front reception, HR, marketing, website updates, scheduling, facilities, IT coordination, special events, inventory and a myriad of special projects which included the implementation of design in YHG’s new office building in South Jordan. She is considered the office mom and likes to think of herself as “the cruise director.”
In her spare time, her passions include interior design, walking her naughty yorkie, teaching herself crochet, digital scrapbooking, and traveling to far off places as much as possible. She is also very excited about her sweet young granddaughter.
