ATTORNEY

Tom Jolley

Tom brings more than 20 years of legal and business experience to his practice, which focuses primarily on real estate law, business transactions, and serving as outside general counsel to companies of all sizes. Notably, his clients value the perspective he gained from his prior roles as Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel for several successful companies. In those roles, he oversaw strategic management, business operations, and corporate legal affairs across a diverse portfolio of business and real estate interests. This unique background allows Tom to deliver practical, business-oriented legal advice that integrates legal insight with real-world strategy.

Throughout his career, Tom has structured and negotiated major financings, acquisitions, entitlements, and operational transactions for developers and businesses across a wide range of industries. He regularly advises clients on acquisitions, development, zoning, financing, and the sale of real estate assets. His real estate practice spans commercial, retail, office, multifamily, condominium, shopping center, mixed-use, resort, and master-planned developments. In addition, his practice includes commercial office, retail, and industrial leasing.

Beyond his real estate practice, Tom represents businesses in a broad spectrum of corporate and transactional matters. These matters include  entity formation, acquisitions and sales of operating businesses, financing, joint ventures, corporate governance, and general business and contract law.

Outside the office, Tom is most often found exploring the outdoors, taking road trips on his motorcycle, skiing, backpacking, climbing, fly-fishing, and seeking out wild places around the world. He has a deep passion for adventure and sustainable travel and pursues opportunities to experience remarkable landscapes and cultures. His travels have taken him from navigating the labyrinthine medina of Fez in Morocco, to climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, to trekking the full Annapurna Circuit in Nepal.
